The 2009 NZPA South Island Men’s & Women’s 8 Ball Championships in Dunedin, held 9-10th May, attracted a good size field of 33 men and 12 women.

Congratulations to Danny Hunia for winning the Men’s event, and to the rest of the Pool Canterbury players who travelled down for the tournament. We had 5 men in the top 8, and our one woman in the semi-finals, which was great to see.
The first tournament of the year for went smoothly, with a small yet competitive field of 15 players in the Men’s and 5 players in the Women’s. Congratulations to the 2009 Canterbury Winners, Danny Hunia and Marianne Edwards.
